Rental Facilities

The Park of Roses Shelter House is a favored location for wedding receptions,
especially for weddings performed in the Wedding Mall rose beds, a short walk away
from the building. It’s also available for social and business meetings.

The 5,200 square foot facility can seat 175 guests, is air conditioned and gas heated
and contains 2 gas fireplaces. The kitchen contains a refrigerator and microwave oven. Reservations may be made up to a year in advance. Wedding parties are encouraged
to make reservations early as summer weekends book up very quickly.

Policies

The Park of Roses is a Columbus city park, with free admission and free parking,
open from dawn to dusk every day of the year.

It is wheelchair and stroller accessible. There are no food or gift concessions or vending machines in the Park. Public restrooms are available week days from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Portable toilets are placed near the parking lot in spring and summer.

Dogs are welcome, provided they are leashed and under control. Pet owners are responsible for their pet’s waste. Outdoor drinking fountains can be used to fill water
bowls. Bicycling and skateboarding are not permitted on the paths.

Picnicking on the lawns is allowed, but alcohol is not permitted in city parks. There are
no picnic tables or grills. Groups can rent the large Shelter House for social events.
